Dikofix-DFNF is eco-friendly non-formaldehyde based dye fixing agent for direct and reactive dyestuff for imparting excellent light-fastness, chloride-fastness, etc. There is no dye blending during washing.

Features:

• No formaldehyde is used and hence no combined formaldehyde
• Ideally suited for fixation treatment after rinsing stage so as to reduce bleeding of Direct and Reactive dyes
• It gives much better Dye fixing results compared to normal Dye fixing Agents manufactured from Formaldehyde in relation to tone / colour change & bleeding of dyes

Application:

• Dikofix-DFNF is cationic in nature, it combines with loosely absorbed dyestuffs forming a complex molecule which is insoluble, thus reducing the bleeding tendency of such Dyeing Processes
• Generally Direct or Reactive dyed fabrics is treated with 2.50 –3.50 g / l of product DIKOFIX-DFNF
• Bleeding of colour during washing of Direct and Reactive dyed goods is a well known phenomenon mainly because of loosely held dyestuffs in the case of former and loosely held hydrolysed dyestuffs in the case of the later
• Conventional dye fixing agents generally available in market are Formaldehyde based condensation products which contain free formaldehyde
• Due to persistent demand from consumers and stringent ECO friendly restriction for exporters, a new Eco- friendly dye fixing agent which does not contain any formaldehyde is developed
• Dikofix-DFNF can be applied by padding from aqueous bath at slightly acidic pH (5.0 to 6.5) @ 13 to 40 gpl at 30 to 40 °C

By Exhaust: Running in containing 0.5-2.5 % owf, of DIKOFIX-DFNF @ 30 to 40 0C & pH 5.5 to 6.5 for 10 to 20 min

History:
Mercerising processes of cotton and polyester blends have seen a revolution in recent day’s the age old process got a face –lifting with procedure of using cresylic acid or phenol based wetting agents whereby Mercerising became an easier process. Wetting properties in the presence of high concentration caustic is the essence of high procedure. Wetting agents with cresylic/phenol base, however show a tendency to damage the fabric by decomposition whereby the fibre is weakened.

Dikomerc-NC:

Mercerising agents has now streamlined the process by eliminating all the disadvantages of a cresylic/based Mercerising agents in the bargain giving better properties to the fabric .Extensive trails on research and plant scale have proved the efficacy of DIKOMERC-NC conclusively particularly advantageous results are seen where polyester/cotton blends are mercerized. Normal Mercerising agent show pronounced deterioration in the blends as they have adverse effects on polyester. The inherent chemical properties of DIKOMERC-NC which does not have phenolic or cresylic acid base have made it more beneficial and hence more popular mercerizing agents.

Dikomerc-NC is specifically developed to give good wetting performance in the presence of strong alkaline solutions employed in:
